Creating a Healthy Lifestyle: Learning more and Taking Action

Now that we have begun studying the important elements of a healthy lifestyle, you will be creating a Public Service Announcement (PSA) in order to share what you have learned with others. The purpose of this campaign is to change the health habits of young adults and teens which will improve their health and wellness.

You have choosen one of the following topics to focus on:

  • Emotional Health

    • Stress

    • Bullying

    • Compassion

  • Exercise

  • Nutrition

  • Sleep

Within this topic, you will need to choose something that you feel is important for young adults and teens to know. Once you have chosen the subject of your PSA, you will fill out the PSA Proposal sheet and hand it in on Monday, May 10th. In class, we will begin preparation on your PSA and you will present your finished PSA at the end of May.

It may be helpful to visit some of the following websites to give you ideas for your Public Service Announcement (PSA).
